Is it just Tilly or does anyone elses lab prefer running water to still water from their bowl?

Tilly will drink her water from the bowl, but if you run the outside tap she loves it and laps it up!

Maybe she can guzzle more this way, or perhaps she prefers the slightly chilled variety!!

PMSL - it must be a family trait Shocked Laughing Laughing Clover loves drinking out of the jet powered hose, but also will drink out of a tap and a bottle (would you believe Shocked ) Hally's water bowl is for occasional drinking out of, and Clover's is for digging the water out Rolling Eyes Twisted Evil

My girls love to drink from the outside tap too.....and Tara used to love to drink from the toilet when it was flushed Rolling Eyes . Not a habit I wished to encourage. Wink

You can actually buy levers to go on your outside taps, so that dogs can just lick at the tap and it dribbles water for them.

Tilly is nearly 9 months and will sit panting to death sometimes because she is so thirsty but will wait untill she hears ANY tap running whether it be me in the bath, the shower or when we are brushing our teeth! Oh and not to forget the toilet flushing, she loves that too!

It's my cat that has a thing about drinking from taps!

Scooby prefers to drink from the most mankiest puddles he can find outside Confused and his water bowl in the house is only for backup Laughing
