I was waiting for Dave to give me the ok to post this but as he has already posted (a rather graphic account) on another of his sites I'll post a slightly toned down version here. Laughing

Baby girl Isabella Emily Burley was born at 11.53am today by forceps delivery at Gloucester Royal. Weight 7lbs 7ounces. Mother and Baby both doing well.

A few quotes from dave on his other site...

"an unholy 19 hours labour"

"Horrendous, tedious and sometimes downright dangerous process for Julie and with no pain killers allowed other than gas and air it was also a hideously painful one, but she persevered and out popped Isabella Smile"

"the room looked like a mass murderer had been there!!!"

So by the sounds of it not the most pleasant of expreiences but with a happy wonderful ending! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I know Dave is totally wiped out and is probably on his way back to the hospital so I don't think we will see much of him online for the next few days, I'll relay what information I can when I get it. Smile

Sounded pretty gruesome- but as long as everyone has come out of it all okay- it hopefully will soon be forgotten ( I would happily 'give birth' again- - dont know about the preceeding 9 months though Embarassed Rolling Eyes )
