I have just followed a link from a post sue51 had put up for someone looking for chocolate labs anyway i got on a website and there was a note at the top stating that someone from the gundog club had died in hospital their name was Phillipa and they had a dog Dan! now my heart sunk as i remember her coming on and stating she had not been well in a while and had had heart surgery now I may be jumping to all the wrong conclusions but she has not been on in a while. Does anyone know if this is true? and it is Phillipa from here Dandog? I truely hope not! her posts were witty and she seemed like such a nice person who was so into Dan I remember her saying he had stayed with her mum while she was in hospital and she missed him so much.......this is what I read dated 22 oct-


Tragic news that Philippa died today at the Brompton Hospital. We all knew her through our gundog group and she was such a warm, friendly and positive person. I miss her already and feel both angry that such a thing can happen, and sad that I shall never have the privelege of teaching her with her beloved Dan, and laughing with her again.

I found an email she had sent me with piccies of Dan and it had her surname.

The only person i can think of in that area is Diana?? at least i think she is in sussex maybe they knew each other through the gundog club aswell????? I am at a loss as to what to say...........
