Every month we get many nominations for Lab of the Month, and we would of course love to put them all forward to win. This month though, i have taken it upon myself to nominate a Lab, who i feel has been through a very hard time lately - and totally deserves the title of ''Lab of the Month''.
With all this said, we would like to congratulate ''Charlie'' (owner Charliesmum) - with whom i''m sure many of you have read about it the forums recently. Many of us are unfortunate enough to know what it feels like when our Lab/s are ill or unwell, and sometimes it''s so very hard to watch them get through it. Charlie has been through a particularly rough time, what with 2 hip replacements and other complications also, but with the support from his caring owner Wendy, he is getting through it all.
Charlie has certainly been through it - we wish him a speedy recovery when he finally gets home, and a belated Happy 1st Birthday also! You certainly are one very special boy! Get well soon, from everyone here at Lab Forums. xx
Wendy says:
"I know a lot of people have been following Charlie''s story and thinking of him and us too. Through all his pain and operations he has kept his same lovely, gentle temperament ang greets all the nurses and vets with a happy waggy tail.
In less than a year he has become such a huge part of our family and we would do anything for him as I''m sure he would do for us. Can''t wait to get him back home but he still has a long way to go. We have very much appreciated all the support we have had from LF. "
WTG Wendy and Charlie, so so much deserved, carry on getting better Charlie Pup, no more dragging bags of plaster about the garden and chucking it everywhere
