Bailey has been told he is ready for his silver (he is 7months) but he hasnt passed his bronze yet as the tester only comes in every so often when most people are ready - it does depend on the club but also the dog

Leo is a year old and in the middle of doing his Bronze.
He was ready to do his bronze months and months ago but i had a lot of trouble finding a class nearby which wasn't full!
This class i'm currently in now i had to wait a long time on getting into!
I did attend one class nearby which turned out to be a horrible class with dogs running about wild everywhere and the trainer not even batting an eye-lid at all the dogs going loopy.
It was absolute chaos, so not surprisingly, we left. That was almost a year ago and sinse then its been an absolute pain finding another class which does the bronze, silver and gold but which also had spaces available.
Even the class we are attending now is almost 2 hours drive away!!
Thats 4 hours driving just to get there and back each week as well as the 1 hour class too. So its a lot! lol
Don't worry to much though. Most dogs have the problem of being angels at home/ or in the park, but the second they enter the hall, they are like loopy kids who have just ate 4 packs of sugary sweets! lol
Leo is the same. At home, he's gold! In the park, again, as good as gold. In the hall where classes are held, he turns into a loon! lol
It's a long drive and its costing more in petrol than anything else! But its so worth it to see how happy Leo looks and how much fun he's having.
To be perfectly honest, i'm not attending because i WANT the brone/silver/gold. Of-Course, It will be nice if he passes, and i'll be very proud! But, my main aim is to keep him well socilised and keep his training to a good standard while being around other dogs/distractions etc.
