Nelly is lovely! I met her at Crufts this year for the first time. She has been doing wonderfully in the ring as a puppy and I look forward to her going right to the top.
Regards, John

I think everything that needs saying about Jazz's pedigree has been said. A classic current black/yellow show pedigree. Full on show lines with much success behind them.
Even amongst show breeders we all have an eye for different dogs but however our own type preference stands, this indeed has a good mix of top show dogs and lines. A strongly linebred pedigree on Poolstead (obviously - grin) and certainly a thoughtful mating with continuation of that type in mind.

You would *tend* to only find Master mariner (Bracken) in black/chocolate pedigrees for a start, and secondly he is purely a show lines dog so therefore the many working and trial pedigrees we see posted will almost cetainly not have him there unless he has sneeked in way back on the 4th or 5th line as a diversion.
So although he appears a fair bit, that is because, for some reason, this forum seems to be VERY chocolate heavy dogs wise considering what a small percentage of the number of Labradors bred each year the colour tottals.
I find that most interesting and can't completely understand how this happened. LF is awash with choccies!
