We've had Amber (6 years old) for five months now and about a week or two ago I think she picked up some poo on the field and was about to eat it when I said 'leave' and she dropped it.
Just now I was in total shock when she brought some poo in the house from the garden and was about to eat it.
Why would she start doing this five months down the line? Nothing has changed that I can think of, her diet is the same.
Any thoughts... ?

Hi Kimberley
horse poo is Rolo's favourite delicacy! Yum! Hopefully Amber will grow out of this unladylike pastime, tell her no boys will kiss her if she smells that way
LOL Lindsey!
I must say, you and Georgia are taking this all in your stride and I'm completly shocked and traumatised by the whole thing!!!! lol
Maybe If I tell her I will cut her Burns by half she'll think twice! I'll just get her where it hurts - at dinner time!
(I was just kidding btw!! )

Can't find the thread but it was something about why are labs so greedy.
My sister looked after Rolo for a day recently. When I picked her up, I asked sis if she'd had her tea. She replied "No, but don't worry, she won't be starve, she's had; her breakfast, Polly's (her dog) breakfast, Her dinner, Polly's dinner, Biscuit's (the cat) dinner, my scrambled egg, Rosie's doughnut, and........the cat's sick!"
My hubby came down early for a peaceful breakfast a couple of weeks ago. All going according to plan, and both Charlie and the cat continued snoozing in their usual places in the kitchen. Peace was then shattered when the cat got up to be sick on the floor, swiftly followed by Charlie knocking over chairs etc. in his enthusiasm to devour the cat sick.
Suddenly poor hubby's "peaceful" breakfast did not seem so appetising any more. He went to work without!
Rolo still does this has done since he was 6 months and he is 16 months now ,I have tried everything i can think of.Wouldnt be quite so bad if it was his own.I now have to let him off lead in fields I know that are not heavily used by dog walkers because if left in wide open spaces he knows he can eat it before i get to him.
Hope you manage to put a stop to it .
Bailey used to do this - untill one day i caught him - told him a very firm NO took him into the bathroom and brushed his teeth! Never brushed them before but it was such an awfull smell - we havnt noticed him do this since.
So now who ever is doing ambers secret santa knows just what to get lol
