Tuesday.......Frank goes on holiday.....with another parrot, to friend who owns petshop
Wednesday AM.......Hand over care of Dad ( 86 ) who we moved into our area 3 days before
Wednesday PM ......Had grandchildren dropped on us at no notice
Thursday.......Aquaplaned to Kingsbury.......arrived, storm.... can't unload car......BBQ in rain ( ty Stu ) and bed ( head in sleeping bag bag hiding from lightening ) 
Friday.....7.20 am....Kaye calls ( next tent lol ) to say she is off to collect 3p from airport......Tilly digs out of tent and goes AWOL...great start....ponders on wearing Lost Lab T shirt........Spot the escape...100% recall ( well on this occasion ) Unload car
Members arrive through day.......great to meet them all.......kaye and 3p go to supermarket for supplies........another storm.....we ( Stu and Kaye and us ) get flooded...lose all food etc and everything soaked...build dams in vain hope to supress the waters. Dam breaches.....nothing more can be done to save contents......retreat to bedroom with girls, mobile, and wine....still mopping up at 11pm...kids grumpy and so was I....God hates me......7 weeks of heatwave and now this......
Saturday...........Fay pays a visit offering forward a lost lostlab tag that someones dog has become detatched from.......checked out addy and see IT'S MINE ....Beth......this is not a good omen......but up up and away to GT ...GREAT DAY...rain held off till packing up time......Maybe it's the camp site ! Another storm ! All Gymnastic Lycra ruined 
Sunday.....pack up say goodbye's and leave at 1.30.........home after 6......leave soggy, muddy kit in car.......knackered.......
Monday.....Up early to collect Gobby.......walk in and hear Gobby doing his house alarm impression.....other parrot saying...' for gods sake SHUTUP ' and Gobby replying with you w***er.......seemed funny at the time but was reliably informed it stopped being humourus by last Thursday morning.....throw Gobby in car in disgrace.......go straight to Dad's to pick up last 4 days pieces.......unload car into lounge
Tuesday...Beth wakes me at 6.45 with a crate full of runny poo........nice.......cleaned up and waited for the delivery of Dads new washing machine.....wouldn't fit through door in packaging....started to unpack...deliveryman said he was
not allowed to help and wouldn't touch machine if I unpacked it.....went and got some grunt help.....DD man wanted me to sign it was delivered and ok.....wanted to check not damaged he said was noffink to do with him.......after telling him I would surgically remove him from his testicles with a blunt rusty knife...he left us there.....W/M in hall ( weighs 13 stone.....) GIT.....drive home at 4pm..find coleslaw I bought for journey up on Thursday...Kaye has returned home and deposited soggy tent etc in lounge with other unpacked gear
Tuesday teatime, rice cooking for Duracell.....cook Ayreshire Bacon ( pressy from 3p) OK OK half way cooked...do I eat this thin almost plastic strip that has come away?....sod it coat them with tom juice
And here I am now...........off to reply / post serious matters and GT particulars.....
