Poor Mojo, she seems really scared of kids!
Amber wasn't sure of children when we got her, she wasn't aggressive she would just try and stay out of their way.
OH's grandchildren (7 and 2 1/2) come around once a week. The 7 year old isn't sure of dogs but is getting better and the little one is very keen on dogs.
The important points for me when they arrived were to let her check them out first. Now the kids give her treats and I make sure she gets the same amount of attention as usual. They also throw her favorite ball for her and play together, supervised at all times. Amber also has to have her 'time out' whereby the children have to leave her alone. They understand this, although, at first trying to tell the younger one was annoying as she sometimes wouldn't listen and we had to stop her!!
I also recently took Amber to a childrens sports day event. This was great we sat in the shade, in a quiet spot with a bowl of water and her toy so she could get used to the children shouting and making noises and running about.
Amber, although alot more relaxed with children now, she still had a moment when the youngest was rolling around on the floor and accidently rolled her feet over Amber's rear and Amber lifted her head and gave a quiet growl. I'm also lucky that the childrens mother is very understanding and pointed out to her youngest what she had done to make Amber growl.
I find that it can be a tricky situation because not all children understand at an early age how to treat a dog and not all dogs are tolerant (like Shep!! Very Happy )
Mojo's problem with kids seems alot worse than Amber's was so the information above may not be very useful Embarassed
Hope you have some success with introducing Mojo to children! and really sorry for rambling on!!

Jules and Natalie, my girls (7 and 5) will be at Hinchingbrook (if we can work out the logistics of getting us all there!)

Feel free to borrow them to give the dogs treats etc.
