Hi, I thought I saw a lot of familiar names so checked the pedigree of my 5 month black lab Severus (or Roundcopse Flax as he is known in polite circles). Guess we are related! Sevvy would be a generation younger than Finn. I've detailed the matching relationships below. Sevvy is our first black lab. He's wonderful. Long legged, slim and fast. He also has an unusually long thin tail. Is it a family trait?

Regards, Penny.

Yes - the looooooong tail is a family trait - and also capable of de-heading flowers etc very competently! Finn is also fast and slim (most of the time Smile ) - when I have more time I will try and post some photos - his puppy album is on here until then.

Maternal great grandparents to both my dogs- have just looked. If this was the only litter between these two , I now have with yours and Pennys help another name of Litter brother to Sabre and Pippit.

My two would represent both ends of the Lab spectrum in Laid Back Horizontal to Speedy Gonzales
