Thanks John.

Wow, This is all new to me and hard to understand some of it!
One or Two people have said that he'd got a good pedigree? But what do really think?.

He has some very good dogs on both side of his pedigree. But Like I said, I wonder what the breeders thoughts were. There is nothing wrong with mixing show and working lines, some of the top breeders do it. Joy Venturi-Rose, Carol Coode and Penny Carpanini to name just three. Do you know if your breeder works their dogs? This could well be the answer.

When His Grace, The Duke of Wellington took over as the president of the Labrador Retriever Club, in his inaugural speech he said that one of his aims was to try to bring the show and working lines closer together. Something I'm 100% in agreement with. (But then, I'm an old man and can remember Labradors before Ruler of Blaircourt changed the breed forever!)

Regards, John
