I'm probably not very helpful, but Haretor Mark of Drakeshead is in Sadies pedigree too and she comes from a working line....
I'm sure JohnW will be along soon to clear it up for you

Hi Welcome to LF.
FT CH Haretor Mark of Drakeshead is also in Dylan's pedigree.And he is from working stock.
Like Mand's said JohnW will give you all the info
Just noticed Sandyland April Fool is in Dylan's pedigree too.

Bit of a mixture really - Sire's side looks like working, and from the lines on my database, the dam line is more biased to show lines - as the others said, JohnW will hopefully be along soon and will be able to give you info on some of the dogs

Thankyou for the information, and the welcome, I am very new to this so bear with me!
Its so interesting to find people with labs that are related to mine.
Just a bit about my Archie, he's 8yrs old and the best, He's bomb proof, kids ,dogs, cats everything and such a good boy.I'll sort out some photo's and put them on.So thanks again for the nice welcome and i'd like to here from anyone with comments about his pedigree or any of Archie's relatives. Sorry it's taken a time to get back to you but the sun has been shining so I’ve taken the opportunity to get a few of the jobs out of the way which I’ve had to put off this week.
As Sue says, Archie is a mix of working and show lines. I wonder what was on the breeder’s mind when deciding on this mating.
As some of you know, I love looking at pedigrees and working out the thinking behind them. Some are impossible to work out, some are as easy to see as a bus ticket! One dog springs to mind here.
Two dogs of interest, the first being Sh Ch Sandylands Longley Come Rain. Born on the 20th of August 1974, I remember seeing her at Crufts, must have been around 1976. A pretty yellow bitch, she had a very interesting pedigree. Her bitch line, back through Longley In Tune was line bred via both dog and bitch sides to Sandylands Tan and through him through Sandylands Tweed of Blaircourt to Ruler of Blaircourt. Interestingly there are two more lines which go back to Olivia of Blaircourt, Ruler’s dam! Rain’s dog line was also line bred through Sandylands Tandy, through Tan and Tweed back to Ruler or Blaircourt!
The second dog of interest is another yellow, Sh Ch Ardmargha Mad Hatter. Hatter’s dam was Hope of Ardmargha who was also line bred on both sides to Sandylands Tandy through to Ruler. Hatter’s sire was that great dog Sandylands Mark and guess what? He was line bred on both sides to Tweed and Ruler! Add to that two more unconnected lines to Olivia!
So who was the one dog who sprang to my mind? Born in April 1981 by Ardmargha Mad Hatter out of Sandylands Longley Come Rain was Sandylands April Fool. Just at a quick count there are 13 separate routes back to Ruler of Blaircourt and 18 back to Olivia of Blaircourt. Such an interesting pedigree!
For anybody other that the late Gwen Broadley to breed as tight as this would have been irresponsible, but here was a person who knew her bloodlines better than probably before or since!
