oohhh a milisecond of pain I would equate it to having your ears pierced but without all the expectation. I had Ruby done at 9 weeks old and one yelp and it was all over back to puppy licks and wiggles. The tattoo is done in one clip nothing like the human tattoo prcedure. HTH
