Ok I am coing to apologise in advance as i am really quite annoyed atm so this post may get deleted or I may get slated but whatever I feel I need to say my piece.

OK LOST LABS currently have 298 members you know how many members there are on here???? 4808 members soooo that means 6%%

SIX PERCENT is that all we can manage???????

Now with my cynical head on I would say that this means that 94% of people are happy to take all the fun stuff and help if you are in trouble with YOUR pet but really when it comes to helping others you really cant be bothered!!!!!!

Apathy is a disgusting part of human nature - come on someone prove me wrong!!!!

Just in case i am slating people who are unaware then read this thread it will explain lost labs http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/ftopict-6490.html

I have been signed up since day1 but have never been needed, lucky i suppose. But hate feeling so powerless when i know there are dogs lost out there too far away for me to do much at all... correct me if im wrong

It is sad isn't it? Sad

I have just looked back at the thread trying to drive up numbers I did in April where we had just over 3000 members and 178 on LF - the 6% is an interesting but worrying statistic Sad at that time 6% of LF members were members of LL and the percentage has remained static Sad

During the time of that thread, LF has acquired around 1800 new members, LL 121 new members - rises of 37% and 40% respectively.

Putting my analytical head on, the 6% has to be statistically significant - so come on ladies and gents - Vicky is right join up - lets buck statistics Sad - the guys do a fab job and need your support - god forbid one day you may need their support - but we have seen that the system works - so join today - please..... - and just in case you don't know the URL

i am already a member too, but hadnt noticed the lab alert bit on side so have just signed up to that. however i have a question. i live on border of notts and derby, can i sign up for more than one county alert?
