PHEW!!!Well done Jack- stay cool boy!!!
I can't believe how quickly heatstroke can take effect. Thanks so much for this thread, at least I know what to look out for.
I worried about poor Zorro today-he's very stressed and panting because of his tail, and reluctant to drink cos it hurts him to bend down, so I'm having to lift the water bowl to him.
I'm going to keep the fan on him today and watch him closely.
Big (((((((((((hugs))))))))to Jack

Natalie I have only just caught up with this thread! I am so pleased that Jack is back to normal - that was really worrying for a moment!

I know my 3 are really suffering in this heat. Fortunately they have the sense to stay inside or under the shade when its been hot. We hose them off every afternoon - more when we are home - and they have a paddling pool to jump in if it gets to bad. They had their first walk this week last night at 10:30pm as its just been too hot for them. Especially Revel he has very thick fleecy fur. I have bathed him several times in an attempt to get as much of it out and it keeps coming out. Where it comes from I have no idea!!

Its so worrying as they cant tell us how they are feeling and if we're not there can't cool themselves down. It looks set to be another hot weekend here!

So glad Jack is better! Smile
