We are going on the Friday too. However, as OH has also taken that day off work we hope to arrive sometime late afternoon, rather than after 8.00pm (would be worried I wouldn't be able to see to put the tent up as it got darker. ).
Give them a call, or leave a message, just to be on the safe side. I assume it must happen quite often, especially for people who have been to work during the day.
I havn`t cos I`ll be going on the friday morning, think you have to arrange it cos they close the office at 8, so if you can get there before 8 its better for them
I'll give them a ring, as Rob won't finish work til 5.30 (I can finish when I want ) and it'll take 2 1/2 hours to get there. I'm not too fussed about getting the tent up as there's only me, OH and the dog so it's not like we've got kids to keep an eye on and get to bed!
Hopefully if there's members of our party already there, they might be happier about it!

Think we booked ajoining pitches didnt we Sarah ? So as long as one of us is there and me and Nic will be there before 8pm should be fine. Whenever i have been camping Crissi has beat me too it so I have never had to even check in.
Like Mary, I hope to arrive there lunch time or very early afternoon. Last time the traffic was horrendous on the M6 and I arrived when it was nearly dark...never doing that again!
