Wish us luck and pray for cooler weather as it is very hot where we train.

This is Majic'c first ever test and I am getting nervy although the trainer said we will pass with flying colours but there is always that element of doubt in your mind. Confused

So roll on Monday so I can get it all out of the way to go to the next group and strat Dexter in the beginners group in 2 weeks time. Very Happy

Good Luck Maj Very Happy

Vicky its nothing posh just your usual like good citizens but they are sticklers for positioning ie heel work has to be close to the leg and the halt and sit must be straight showing fluid turn abouts and corners-no cutiing corners, the recall must be run straight to you no deviation and straight into a present sitiing straihgt looking at you etc..... so basic stuff just have to get your positioning sorted, which Majic had but now has decided that sticking her bum out on heelwork sit and halt is good fun but sadly not acceptable Rolling Eyes

Don't worry about things Carroll, Treat it as just another training session. I never did any training for a couple of days before an Obedience competition because I wanted my dogs to come out fresh. That suited me, but others prefered to do just a little. It's all about whats best for you and Majic.

Best of luck, John

oohhhh carroll sounds very precise!!!! My new training school which we start next week does obedience classes after bronze silver and gold so think I will start on Rubys neatness now if thats what obedience is all about. I am still not sure what to do after KC award classes - obedience or agility but I certainly need something for her to do Wink

I am sure she will be wonderful and it will all be alright on the night

Carrol - you'll do fine!

We got our beginners obedience rosette last night - I was dreading Baxter's wonky bum on the recall (he always hangs his a**e out to my left), but we did loads of practice against chairs Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes and he was good and straight!

I know what you mean about the positioning, 4 people didn't get through ours last night because they were wonky on a heelwork halt & sit!
