Need help

We have a dog who is allergic to everything, rice, wheat, white fish, chicken, lamb, eggs, beef etc

All we have is turkey, duck and oats, corn or soya plus veggie or ham, porks okay

This week he came close to death after his poor immune system caught a pathogen.. Up to day we were feading him a BARF diet as the vet suggested, now we are getting poor protein levels

Murphys stomach lining is damaged and is on Canin Sensitivity control SC24 which is other fish and tapocia to stop the allergens, however this costs over £60 a month and is going to bankrupt us

Searched the internet and loosing hope, has anyone across the globe heard of a food that we could buy

After the trauma of nearly loosing him, do not think I can take it any more
the vet is unhelpful

Thanks Penny

just a thought, on the home page there is a freephone number for burns food, could you ask them? They answer questions on diet/problems/holistic stuff. May be worth a try?

After seeing blood poor from his bum and vomit and watching him die was awful, thankfully thanks to his nurse whose care pulled him back from the brink. I am looking on the american sites as they take allergens quite seriously you will not believe how much our dog food has wheat, rice and potaotes even gluten diets uses chicken fat, lamb flavouring we are in a mess as we are getting no where, tried burns, royal canin etc

I will stick on this diet till he picks up again and then speak to the allergy testing place for advice

Murphy is quite poorly, getting depressed as he can not go out, no treats, just pills, I am playing with him when he does not grumble, but the vets says he needs rest to get over it

We are still not sure if he was poisoned or had an infection

Ta Penny
