Now i thought that dogs ate grass to throw up Shocked . BUT Nushka eats and eats and does not throw up ever. I am very confused. and a bit worried. does anyone else do this? Is it bad for her? Rolling Eyes

Both of mine graze on grass all the time - especially lush long grass. They eat it coz it tastes nice to them - who needs a lawnmower eh? lol

Charlie does it too. Often quite a lot.

The only thing I really mind about it is that it doesn't always digest on the way through to the other end. Charlie has ended up with it hanging out of his rear end regularly, and I have to wrap a carrier bag or nappy sack around my hand to help it out. Shocked Embarassed Laughing

I gave up trying to stop him a long time ago. Apparently they eat it to settle or clear out their tums.

All part of the joys of dog ownership, I suppose. Laughing

Hi,

Cadbury does this too!! he loves eating long grass and if we go for a walk in local meadow he runs through it snapping like a crocodile !!
He has never been sick from it, think it helps their digestion.
