Those who are camping and have crate trained pups - will you be bring the crate with you? We have one which folds so should squeeze into the 4x4. But if you are camping, do you or would you use it? Or do you rely on the tie out stake? (Obviously not for sleeping at night lol but during the day when you are hanging out/eating in the the tent)

we didnt take the crate as its a 42" and just too big for our car. Ruby was fine on the stake no worries at all. Crissi took Kyras crate though and same again she was fine - one evening Ruby curled up outside Kyras crate and they bothe went to sleep while we ate chinese hehe. The bedroom compartment to our tent has a sewn in groundsheet so we were all 'crated' over night heheheh

I will be taking the crate but not tried in a tent but Maj is used to the crate and probably won't settle on a night unless she has it. Very Happy

Won't be bringing Pheebster's crate cos it's 48" and quite frankly I can;t be arsed to fold it up and work out how to fit it in the car. Plus like Vicky says - we have a sewn in ground sheet so we'll ALL be crated for the night hehehe Laughing

I haven't got a sewn in ground sheet as it is a breathable one so she would probably do a Houdini on me Rolling Eyes

Jazz doesn't have a crate. She'll snuggle up with me in the inner tent. Hope she'll have dried off after any swimming!
