I have saw a lot of posts saying that people give their dogs raw eggs in the shell.
Am i reading that correctly yeah? Raw eggs with shell still on?
I gave Leo one a few weeks ago and nope, wasn't interested.
So i tried breaking the shell and giving him the raw egg inside, nope, he wouldn't dare touch it (Yes, i have a lab, honest )
I tried giving him another one a few days ago, shell in tact and all, nope. He cracked it open, sniffed it, then walked away, leaving muggins here to clean it up lol
He just won't go for eggs. Doesn't seem to like them one bit.
Just wondering if i have been doing something wrong maybe? Maybe i should be mixing it in with his food or something?
As he has become older, he does seem to be getting a tad more fussy as to what he puts in his mouth. lol (I promise hes a Lab! )
Jet and Willow- hope that I will be daft enough to drop one, when I get them out of the fridge.
They can bring me one if given to them by the children and I get it whole- they wont break it for themselves!!

I too thought I'd try Charlie with a raw egg after reading about it on LF.
I just gave him a whole egg and told him to 'take it out' which he did. 10 seconds later he came back into the kitchen, whole egg still intact and dropped it on the kitchen floor - well smashed and messy. He did lick the egg up and ate the shell. I'd never have thought to do this until I read it on here, so hope I got it right!!!!!!!
Just thought you could break it and crush the shell up and mix it with his Autarky
He won't touch it. lol. (Fussy little so and so! )
Maybe he just doesn't like eggs? I could always try mixing it with his canned food instead of the dry, that might work or help.
I'm sure i read on here that raw eggs help keep their coat conditioned and nice and glossy.... Sinse he doesn't seem to interested in the raw eggs, would boiled eggs work? Or aren't they are nutritious?
(Maybe thats a silly question. lol)
CJ waits for the shell if he sees me break an egg into the frying pan or something, he loves them, but then he`ll eat anything , I`d try mixing it with his meal Jill, see if he`ll eat it that way
