Normal Chippings are OK, though probably not best eaten, it's the cocoa content - probably a by-product of that revolting stuff hersheys call chocolate.
Remember chocolate aint good for dogs 'cos of it theobromine content, which incidently is whats in cocoa shells, and cocoa mulch.
This is one hell of a ****-up - of course dogs are gonna eat chocolate flavoured mulch - Recall in order me thinks!

Rhoni, thanks so much for letting us all know, I have normal bark on our garden, but had seen and considered cocoa mulch too, thank goodness I didn't ...
OH just suggested, as Hersheys don't seem interested in this, that you pass the story on to Watchdog, I am sure they would be interested in running it, TV always likes an animal story and it would get the message across to so many more dog owners. What do you think?
In the meantime I have also posted it on our training club forum.
