well the day of the GT is my hubbys 30th birthday. We are coming along with pup bailey. hubby was keen to go aswell so we agreead we would have his birthday another day. now recently he has started talking about what his friends are doing for their 30th etc and i am feeling guilty. i want to surprise him on the day, somehow, with something. thats where you come in. i have no idea what - i may also need help from other people to organise a cake etc if anyone lives close by. i will pay for everything of course - just need help and suggestions.
thanks in advance

I'll bump this for you. I am sure we could come up with something between the lot of us, so just hoping for a few suggestions now.
I am certainly no baker, but presume there will be somewhere locally we could buy a cake from, even if it is a supermarket. Maybe some champers to go around too, as I think one or two of us have birthdays around that time too.
Helen.

I work with a midwife who was a specialist cake maker (before her midwifery days) and still does it on the side. She can do all kinds of weird and wonderful stuff - she did my friends "Mermaids and Mermen" themed party cake and it was MASSIVE and really tasty! I'll try and get a pic of it to show you what it was like.
I could ask her what she can think of if you like? She has a wonderful imagination
