Danny is on Burns mini-bites and absolutely loves it Laughing
When should I change him over to adult though? He's 5 months old.

I would start introducing the adult /burns any time now, do it gradually over a few weeks alittle adult with puppy and gradually wean out the puppy. If you dont do it gradually chances are danny will have an upset tummy.

I changed my two over to burns about 6 weeks ago but even tho they were ok for the first few weeks....(I did it gradually), for about 8 days they had the runs and we thought we would take them of it and see if that was the reason. Within a couple of days both have gone ok.

Still not sure i it was burns but don't want to chance them with it again at the moment as we go on holiday in 2 weeks so don't want to leave the doggy sitter with alot of work Confused

We fed them 200g twice aday

When I first started feeding Burns - one of my dogs developed a really smelly ear discharge. I found out that sometimes this is a side effect of feeding Burns - but is really nothing to worry about as it is just a method of getting toxins out of the system. I kept my dogs on Burns - the smelly discharge cleared up and since then she has never had another ear or urine infection and she used to have plenty before changing her food.

Perhaps getting the runs was your dogs way of getting rid of toxins -or you may have been feeding slightly too much - it may be worth a phone call to Burns - they have a freephone number and some very experienced and helpful people there.

I think I will give them a ring and see if they can help. I am going to try them again but when I am back off holiday as i don't want an angry doggy sitter when I come back....even if it is my mum i've persuaded to move in my house!!!!

How much wil you charge to rent your mum out? I haven't had a holiday in years!!

Only joking - well, about renting your Mum anyway!

Have a great time wherever is it you are going.
