August's Lab Of The Month
bradleysmum writes: " This month, our special award for 'Lab of the Month' goes to another very special Lab called Kimmy. Well done Kimmy, your award & pressie are on there way to you.
Below, Kimmy's owner Ann, tells us why she nominated him for this award:
Ann writes:
"I would like to nominate my yellow lab Kimmy. He has just passed his Pets As Therapy assessment which surprised us all. But mainly he has changed my daughter Stephanie's world.
She is disabled and Kimmy has given her so much more confidence. She now feels that she is the same as her piers and that she is now their equal. We are hoping that in the future Kimmy will be trained by Support Dogs and become Steph's skilled companion, to help her open doors, change clothes etc. On May the 15 it was a year since we had Kimmy and as we got him when he was just 10 weeks old.
We would just like to say a big thank you to Kimmy for making our family complete and for given so much to Stephanie - he is now her best friend."
