Toby the Labrador was left feeling well below par after swallowing eight golf balls, and now his golf-loving owner is on the lookout for a new caddy. The yellow Labrador from west London was taken to the vet by his owner when he went off his food and an x-ray revealed that he'd eaten eight golf balls. His owner, Jerry Murphy, is a keen golfer and takes Toby with him while he plays, but was more than surprised when x-rays showed that his dog was as keen on golf as he was.

Vet David King successfully operated on Toby to remove the foreign objects and he made a full recovery. As seen on www.mirror.co.uk
