Default Thirsty and very frequent wees?

Luna is now just over 19 weeks and seems to be peeing a lot more on walks and is more thirsty than usual. We are swapping her food from Chudleys to Wainwrights so I suppose the thirst could be due to that or it could just be that its particularly warm today.

My worry is that this could be a urine infection - could that be the case? If so what should I look out for? If she has any accidents is it worth trying to get a sample for the vet?

Thanks, Rob.

Yes, it's possible, but remember, she is getting older and bigger so is naturally drinking more, also the weather is warming up a bit, so that would also mean her drinking more. But if you are worried try to catch a urine sample and take it to your vet to check. It might also pay to measure the amount of water you put down so you have an idea of the amount she's drinking over a 24 hour period.

Regards, John

Thanks John, she seems to have settled down now so we'll do as you have said.
