Default Looking for chew treats for 10/11 week old pup

Luna is getting through kongs, etc really quickly and we were wondering if we can give her anything to chew long term that will keep her interest?

Can we let her have one of those huge rawhide chews?

Thanks, Rob.

Rawhide is not goodfor dogs, some pretty nasty ingredients in them.

Do you freeze the kongs as that can make them last longer? My girl loves beef head chews from millies wolfheart, they last a good while.

She also loves raw bones,

Careful with the rawhide- we still give occasionally but they can, shall we say, block things up! Also, pups should be watched (as with anything given) to ensure no choking

Best thing we got (and still have!) is a Kong bone. You can slot half a dental stick in each end and needs effort to squeeze them in. They last a good time.
Freezing the kongs also good

For natural you cannot beat a good old marrowbone from the butchers but again watch that with a pup. Judy gets these as a treat every now and then - loves'em and keep her busy for ages!

Good luck

Yes we freeze the kong (puppy kong) - they last a good amount of time but we don't want to over feed her and we do seem to go through a few in a day. We will have to try the kong bone - its mostly to keep her busy and entertained so that sounds good.

Hooves, or hoofs, I'm never sure what the plural is! You can buy them online and a box full is only cheap. I give them to my two who are fully grown now and they last a good few days, tend to give them for a couple of hours in the garden and then take them off them for another day!
