I cannot watch Supervet unless I'm laying on the floor with Jude alongside me.
We always hang..... we've been careful not to have her follow us around the house and she's independent but we ALWAYS make sure we have our Jude time.
Oh goodness yes!
Vegging out on the sofa with the pooch cuddled up next to me is definitely one of life's pleasures! Have been quite busy recently with study and some decorating, and I feel really guilty if we've not managed to squeeze in that quality time doing nothing!
Interesting article though. It sounds a little bit obvious on first glance, but I imagine there are people out there in busy households where it's easily overlooked.
I Hang Out with all my lot (cats included...lol), all the time.
Just like with children and horses, All Work and No Play makes Jack a Dull Boy. Dogs need time to just be Dogs and to chillax (to coin a phrase) with the rest of their family.
And anyway, I would get very chilly if I sat down in the evening and didn't have at least one cat and a couple of Poodles on my lap, one Labrador squashed up against me (head under arm) and another on my feet. I might have to get up and get a blanket
Love just me and the Coops hanging out - especially when he lies on the bed next to me watching the tv - he lies (usually with his bum near my face) all down the one side of me and keeps me cosy!! x
