Default Hi from a newbie

Hello forum readers. Just a quick intro. Sarah my wife, Tilly our daughter (3.5) and myself just wanted to post to the forum.

I have been reading the forum for a few days now and have to say its a mine of information. We are hoping to get a choc bitch puppy in July from a pedigree breeder in Newbury and are very excited. Sarah is on school holidays from then until Sept and as she only teaches 3 days a week and we have a fairly flexible working times, having the whole summer with a new pup seemed as good a time as any.

I have had labs all through my childhood up to adult life but we haven't had one as a family...we borrow my sister's as often as possible!

We would be keen to know if there are any other walkers local to us in Gomshall/Dorking/Guildford who might like to meet up when we have ours, for a GT perhaps on or around Newlands Corner...

Anyway, as this is the introduction forum - thats about it folks!

Cheers

Edward

Hi & welcome to LF

Just make sure you see the parents health certs before you see your pup and the results are good (hips, eyes and poss optigen)

There are many GT's around the country...just post in the GT's section near the time and if there are peeps in the area and can come they will post.

Please bear in mind that your pup will only be able to do about 5 mins forced exercise per month of age until a year to protect it's hips.

Good Luck

We will be sure to see the certificates.. Some of you may have heard of Brightwalton..Sue is the breeder so I am very confident that the pups when they are born will be in great shape...just hope the mum can produce some chocs!

Hi & welcome to LF! Choc bitch sounds like a lovely choice, not that I'm biased at all

Hello and welcome to LF
Such an exciting time for you! And I'd know - I'm going through the pre-pick up puppy stages too!
